What is Radiant Lotus Qigong? 

RADIANT LOTUS QIGONG for Women

Radiant Lotus Qigong for Women is a practice that cultivates the harmonisation of life energy. Through gentle, flowing movements, conscious breathing and imagination, Qigong aims to balance the body’s energy flow along the meridians and channels, promoting inner harmony and relaxation.

At the OCEAN LODGES on Sylt and in individual online sessions, Regina Körten-Knott teaches the first five movement forms and five pillars of this special form of Qigong developed by Daisy Lee and her teachers from Tibet, China and the West exclusively for women. She is one of the few certified women allowed to teach Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong in Germany.

What are the five pillars of Radiant Lotus Qigong?

  1. A centring philosophy and helpful formula for self-empowerment
  2. Movement forms (with a pleasant flow)
  3. Shaking, cupping & tapping (shaking and invigorating the body)
  4. Self-massage techniques and acupressure
  5. Tibetan sound healing (taught exclusively in Radiant Lotus Qigong)

In Radiant Lotus Qigong, you experience yourself gently and in flowing dynamics. You learn to let your breath flow softly and calmly. Through its direct influence on your nervous system, you can easily and effectively calm your mind and learn to regulate your physical sensations.

With a sensibly coordinated sequence of flowing movements, you will develop a new, pleasant mobility. During the exercises, the body’s energy channels, the meridians, become more permeable and balanced again. Blockages and stagnations are released in the body as well as in the emotions and the mind. Touching acupressure points promotes the flow of Qi, the vitalising life energy that invigorates and harmonises all organs and functional circuits.

You will learn a basic understanding and a centring exercise with which you can restore mental, physical and emotional balance again and again and build up a stable guiding energy within yourself. All these strengthening gifts develop naturally over time through constant practice and are a helpful support right from the start in the many moments when support and balance is needed.
